Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to deliver comprehensive care from initial exam through treatment planning and delivery within a high-quality, patient-centered practice in the Boston area. The role covers in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on prevention, ethics, and ongoing professional development in a collaborative environment.

You will maintain records and educate patients on options, while benefiting from mentorship

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, and best practices through continuing education.
