Job summary

42 North Dental in Seymour, CT seeks a Doctor of Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) to lead the patient experience from initial exam through treatment delivery. You will perform in-office services across specialties, uphold high standards of care, and collaborate with a network of doctors.

The role emphasizes comprehensive care, patient education, and ongoing professional development within an equitable, mentorship-rich environment with potential for unlimited earning.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism.
