Job summary

42 North Dental, based in Boston, seeks a Dentist to join our patient-centered practice in Massachusetts. You will promote oral health, diagnose conditions, educate patients, and create comprehensive treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.

In this role you will review records, interpret X-rays, monitor jaw development, perform restorative and surgical procedures, and uphold the highest standards of care and ethics. A strong commitment to continuing education is valued.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health for patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain highest standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
