Job summary

42 North Dental in the Boston area is seeking a Dentist to promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, create and review treatment plans, and maintain patient records. You will interpret X-rays, monitor tooth/jaw development, and provide restorative and preventive care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patient records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor jaw and tooth development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.
