Job summary

42 North Dental in Glastonbury, CT seeks a Dentist to lead the full patient experience from initial exam to treatment, offering in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics. The role requires a DMD or DDS, current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, and malpractice insurance with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Active state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
