Job summary

42 North Dental in Massachusetts is seeking a Dentist to lead the full clinical patient experience from initial exam through treatment delivery. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The candidate must hold a DMD or DDS, have a current state license to practice dentistry, and provide Hepatitis B vaccination documentation, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Annual compensation ranges from $50,000 to $125,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Requires DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professional ethics.
