Job Description

University Physicians' Association, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time public health-focused licensed Dentist for Kim Health Center, a nonprofit serving the uninsured in Knoxville, TN.

Start Date: June 2025

Job Type: Full-Time, Four Day Work Week, based in Knoxville, TN

Salary commensurate with experience, plus signing bonus and potential school debt repayment through working for a 501c3.

Are you passionate about making a difference with your dental skills? Looking to escape corporate dentistry, nearing retirement and want fewer workdays, or seeking a fulfilling DDS role? Join nonprofits focused on underserved populations to achieve public health goals.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Preventive and restorative dentistry
  • Providing and managing direct patient care
  • Referring patients to specialists as needed
  • Coordinating care with dental assistants and hygienists
  • Occasional supervision of dental students or residents
  • Participating in health promotion events such as mobile dental clinics
  • Acting as an ambassador for clinic services to underserved populations
