Under the supervision of the Division Director of Dentistry:

1. Provide direct dental care to the assigned inmate population, operating within the guidelines of SCDC's policies and procedures.
2. Manage and supervise the operations of the assigned dental clinic to ensure compliance with appropriate standards.
3. Manage and supervise the dental assistant assigned to the clinic.
4. Assist with providing dental care at other SCDC institutions as needed, as directed by the Division Director of Dentistry.

Minimum Requirements

Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of South Carolina. Graduation from an approved school of Dentistry. Three (3) years of dental experience preferred. (Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
