LOCATION: Vandalia Correctional Center Medical Unit, IL

HOURS: Part time - 16 hours/monthly (full time available)

STATUS: Employee W-2 or 1099 (your choice)

COMPENSATION: Guaranteed hourly rate, company-paid med mal

Position Summary

Under supervision of the Medical and Dental Directors, Dentists supervise dental staff, manage dental activities, and provide oral health care including fillings, extractions, dentures, root canals, etc.

Licensing & Certification
  • Current Illinois State Dental license
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Current CPR certification
Education

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree

Preferred Experience
  • Minimum one year practicing dentistry
  • Skilled in recognizing symptoms of shock and fainting; prepared to provide aid as needed

Estimated hourly rate: $95.00 - $115.00+
