Job summary

Sacramento Community Clinic, part of Health and Life Organization, Inc., is seeking a dentist to diagnose, treat, and prevent oral health issues to improve patients' overall health.

Under the Dental Director, you will conduct exams, perform fillings, extractions, root canals, educate patients, interpret X-rays, and ensure accurate records while adhering to health and safety standards in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• One year of experience as a Dentist preferred.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction and supervision of the Dental Director, the dentist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing oral health issues to ensure the overall health of patients' teeth and gums.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• One year of experience as a Dentist t is preferred.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSE

• Valid state license to practice dentistry.
• Valid DEA

The work environment is characteristic of a clinic environment. The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually noisy.

The employee may experience a number of unpleasant sensory demands associated with the client’s use of alcohol and drugs, and the lack of personal care. The employee may also be exposed to bodily fluids (blood, urine) and hazardous chemicals.
