Akicita Federal is hiring a Dentist to deliver comprehensive oral health care to underserved tribal communities served by the Indian Health Service in Warm Springs, OR. This is an opportunity to make a direct, lasting impact on the health and well‑being of Native American patients who depend on IHS for access to quality dental services. You will be the primary dental provider at this location, bringing both clinical expertise and a commitment to patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a full range of dental conditions including caries, periodontal disease, oral infections, and trauma
• Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown preparations
• Provide preventive care services including cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and oral health education
• Evaluate patients' dental and medical histories to inform safe, effective treatment planning
• Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and clinical findings accurately in the electronic health record system
• Coordinate referrals to specialty dental or medical providers when clinical needs exceed available services
• Engage patients and families with culturally respectful communication and education to support long‑term oral health
