Job summary

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a General Dentist to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Ottumwa, Iowa. You will join a provider team and work within an integrated care model using Ochin Epic.

Expect flexible hours Mon-Fri, 12–15 patients per day, and a comprehensive benefits package including student loan repayment up to $50,000, competitive salary ($150k-$245k), sign-on/relocation bonuses, malpractice coverage, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice dentistry in Iowa.
• Bilingual in English + Spanish is a plus.

What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations. With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

Role Details

• Hours: flexible within the clinic hours of Monday-Friday 8am-6pm


• Sees on average 12-15 patients per day


• Provider team includes: 6 dentists, 1:1 dental hygienist ratio, & 1:1 dental assistant ratio


• EHR: Ochin Epic

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.


• Active license to practice dentistry in the State of Iowa.


• Bilingual in English + Spanish would be a plus.
