AMN Locums Dentistry is seeking a Dentist for locum tenens coverage in Lexington, KY, starting ASAP with Mondays and Tuesdays through mid-September. The clinic serves adult patients with fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, Invisalign, and cosmetic dentistry.

Active state license, DEA, BLS/CPR, CSR, and Dentrix EMR proficiency are required. A travel-friendly role with 1–2 dental assistants and 1 hygienist per dentist is provided, with AMN arranging travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Active state dental license in the U.S.
• DEA license
• BLS/CPR certification
• Experience with Dentrix EMR

Responsibilities

• Dentist will provide locum tenens dental services at a clinic.
• Perform fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, Invisalign and cosmetic procedures for adult patients.
• Collaborate with a team of 1–2 dental assistants and 1 hygienist per dentist.

Coverage Dates: Mondays - Tuesday starting in mid-September

• Setting: Clinic
• Procedures/Cases: 98% of patients are adults. Procedures needed: Fillings, Ortho - Invisalign Certified, Crowns, Bridges, Restore Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry. Number of Dental Assistants: 1-2 per dentist, Number of Hygienists: 1
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~1-2 days
• Requirements: Active State License, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and use of Dentrix Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
