Job description

Position: General Dentist with Pediatric Experience (Peds cert not required)

Location:

Greensburg, PA, outside of Pittsburgh

Support Staff & Clinical Environment:

• RDA, Hygienists, Front Staff, Schedule Coordinators

Reason for Need:

Long-term search for DDS who has relocated

Practice Details:

• 5 locations within the group, including a mobile unit
• Total of 9 DDS working
• Medicaid experience required
• Nitrous oxide license required

Schedule:

Open to part-time candidates, flexible scheduling

Patient and Procedure Details:

• Average patients per shift: 1/hour
• Procedures to perform: Exams and treatments at a ratio of 1:2
• Patient age range: 1-18 years, up to 21 for those with special needs
• Required procedures include:
• Dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
• Fluoride treatments
• Cavities restorations
• Early interceptive orthodontic care (referral out)
• Extractions
• Pulp treatments (pulpotomies)
• Stainless steel crowns
• Tooth-colored fillings (composite resin)
• X-rays (radiographs)
• Sealants
• Space maintainers

General Description:

Focus on traditional pediatric dentistry including extractions, pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, amalgams, composites, with no active orthodontics except spacers.

Certifications:
