Job summary

Lever Demo 2 is seeking a qualified dentist to provide comprehensive general dentistry in a fast-paced Georgia practice. You will diagnose, plan, and treat a wide range of dental conditions, including restorative procedures, with emphasis on patient safety and comfort.

The role requires DDS/DMD from an accredited school, active state license, CPR/BLS, and experience with radiographs and modern dental software. Competitive benefits and a patient-focused team environment await.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Active and unrestricted state dental license.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • DEA registration, if required for the position.
  • Proven experience providing comprehensive general dentistry services.
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures, treatment planning, and clinical protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with Dental Assistants, Hygienists, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations, evaluations, and treatment planning.
  • Diagnose oral health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide general dentistry services, including fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and other restorative procedures.
  • Review and interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic imaging.
  • Administer local anesthesia as appropriate.
  • Perform routine and complex restorative dental procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment recommendations, risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with Dental Assistants and Hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
  • Maintain strict infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety standards.
  • Stay current with developments in dentistry, technology, materials, and treatment techniques.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.
  • Build trust and positive relationships with patients and families.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, professional, and positive office culture.

  • Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records.
  • Experience with crowns, bridges, restorative dentistry, and extractions.
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
  • Membership in the ADA or applicable state dental association.
  • Experience working in a high-volume dental practice.
