CHRISTOPHER T PAWELEK DDS PLLC in Town of Cicero, NY seeks a skilled Dentist to join a busy practice with a modern facility and top equipment. We value patient comfort and a caring, collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will hold a DDS or DMD from an ADA-accredited school, be licensed in New York, and demonstrate excellent bedside manner and communication skills. Prior private practice experience is preferred; CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications are required.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required.
• Board Certification and/or Board Eligibility in General Dentistry.
• Current state dental license and active credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough examinations to assess dental health and detect gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restorations.
• Perform dental procedures such as x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dentistry.
• Consult with specialists when needed and supervise staff.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and appliances.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
• Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration
• Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services
• Consult with other dental specialists when necessary
• Supervise staff
• Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances
• Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required
• Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry
• Current state license
• Previous experience in clinical or private practice
• CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
• Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
• Excellent bedside manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
