We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dentist to join our team in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental exams and cleanings.
- Diagnose and treat dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay.
- Create treatment plans for patients and discuss options with them.
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- General education/counseling to patients and family members
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state dental license (or have applied for) a current Michigan Dental License and Controlled Substance License
Position Criteria:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Candidates with knowledge of Dentrix also helpful.
- Float as needed between Dental sites for patient care.
Job Type: Full-time 40 hours/week
Required experience:
- Dentist experienced: 2-5 years prior dental practice experience is a plus
- Recent Dental School Grad: 1 year may be considered
Required license or certification:
- Michigan Dental License
- Valid BLS/CPR
- Valid State of Michigan Driver's License

All candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check, TB test, and education and licensure credentialing as part of the hiring process. Candidates that float to the Mobile Dental team also require background check for Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD)
