A leading company in correctional health care seeks a part-time Dentist for its intake center and clinic in Crest Hill, IL. The position includes performing various dental procedures, patient education, and flexibility in work status. Ideal candidates will have a DDS or DDM degree and a year of dental experience.
Dentist needed for busy intake center and clinic.
LOCATION : Stateville Northern Reception Center Medical Unit, Crest Hill, IL
HOURS : Part time -three 8-hour weekdays
STATUS : Independent Contractor or Employee Status
COMPENSATION : Guaranteed hourly rate includes medical malpractice insurance
Perform intake, assessments, dental care plans, extractions, and fillings
Educate patients in proper oral health and have an impact on their overall health and wellbeing

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Dentist is responsible and accountable for being a part of the supervising team overseeing the dental staff and the dental activity as well as for providing oral health care to patients such as fillings, extractions, dentures, root canals, etc.
CERTIFICATION :
Current DEA certificate
Current CPR certification
EDUCATION : Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :
Minimum one (1) year practicing dentistry.
