Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Columbia, SC is seeking a Pediatric Dentist or an experienced General Dentist with strong pediatric experience to join our multi-doctor pediatric office.

This part-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) at our Columbia (Bush River) practice with a busy daily production expectation of $7,000–$12,000. Ideal candidates enjoy working with children and families and value teamwork in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Pediatric dentist or general dentist with pediatric experience.
• Enjoys working with children and families.
• Calm, patient-centered approach with anxious children.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric procedures including hygiene, restorations, stainless steel crowns.
• Manage limited extractions and refer complex cases to specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality pediatric care.

Schedule: Part-Time | Monday-Friday (days may vary) | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Clinical Scope

Providers perform a variety of pediatric procedures, including:

• Routine hygiene and preventive care
• Composite restorations
• Stainless steel crowns
• Limited extractions
• Complex procedures such as adult endodontics, wisdom tooth extractions, oral sedation, and select IV sedation cases are referred to specialists.

• Is a Pediatric Dentist or an experienced General Dentist with significant pediatric experience
• Enjoys working with children and families
• Has a calm, patient-centered approach with anxious children
• Is comfortable treating children with special healthcare needs
• Values teamwork, compassion, and exceptional patient care
• Thrives in a busy, established pediatric practice
• DDS/DMD candidates with a South Carolina dental license (or eligibility) are encouraged to apply.
