Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Dentist to join the Dentistry team on a full-time contract basis. The Dentist will diagnose and treat conditions of the teeth, gums, and oral cavity, while educating patients on oral health care and prevention.

The role requires a DDS or DMD, current license in the practicing state, and compliance with professional standards. A minimum of one year of experience is preferred and CPR, health certificates, and screenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree.
• Must be licensed and in good standing in the practicing state.
• Minimum of one year experience as a dentist preferred.
• CPR current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray as applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Job description

As part of the Dentistry team, the Dentist will serve anintegral part in the diagnoses and treatment of patients. The Dentist will assess and address issueswith patients' teeth, gums, and other areas of the oral cavity. The Dentist will provide education andinstruction on caring for teeth and gums that affect oral health. Involvement includes clinical dental work andeducation with specific responsibilities governed by the state in which thedentist is employed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must hold either a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM) degree
• Must be currently licensed and in good standing in the state in which they are practicing
• A minimum of one year experience as a dentist is preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
