Job summary

360care in Charleston, SC is seeking a General Dentist (DDS/DMD) to serve geriatric and underserved communities as a 1099 independent contractor. You will travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities to provide comprehensive dental care with autonomy over clinical decisions.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork supervision of dental assistants and hygienists, and documentation in our EMR system.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD licensed to practice dentistry in the United States.
• Experience providing dental care to geriatric patients preferred.
• Ability to document treatment accurately in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities to provide dental care.
• Provide comprehensive dental care including preventative dentistry, removable prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Document all procedures in the EMR and follow standard protocols.
• Supervise dental assistants and hygienists when working as a team.

Dentist Responsibilities:

• Travel to skilled nursing and long term care facilities.
• Provide comprehensive dental care in the areas of preventative dentistry, removable prosthodontic, and oral surgery.
• Properly document all procedures and treatment utilizing our EMR system.
• Follow established standards, protocols, and practices.
• Provide supervision of Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist working as a team.

Qualifications

• Trained Dental Assistant to assist on all visits
• State of the art portable equipment, instruments,and supplies
  • including theAsepticodelivery system with high and low speed hand pieces and suction, hand held X-ray camera (all our DA are certified to take the x-rays), Hand Held Digital Sensor for Digital Imaging, all standard surgical instruments and we use polyvinyl impression materials to take impressions
• All scheduling and billingarecompleted by 360Care
• Full office support including a Care Coordination team handling all consents, pre-authorizations, patient scheduling, post op and IT support
• Field supportand mentorshipfrom Clinical Director
