Job summary

The Children's Clinic in California is seeking a Dentist to provide professional general dental care in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This mission-driven clinic serves low-income families across thirteen sites with a mobile van, and offers a supportive team environment.

Licensed to practice dentistry in California and a degree from an accredited school are required, with preferred FQHC experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice dentistry in the California
• Graduate of a formal accredited school of dentistry
• FQHC experience preferred
• Working knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of dental and oral diseases
• Working knowledge of the principles, standard practices methods, and techniques of dentistry
• Working knowledge of preventive dentistry and educational methodologies utilized in prevention
• Skill in oral operative techniques
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff
• Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, internet, and Practice Management Systems
• Ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks
• Proven reliability, trustworthiness, flexibility, and high ethical standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Interest in working with diverse ethnic groups
• Demonstrated ability to treat all individuals with respect, empathy and compassion
