Job summary

Professional Care Dental Services, P.C. is seeking a Part-Time Dentist to join our team at the Allegany County Jail in Belmont, NY.

This role involves providing dental care to inmates during 4 to 6 hours per bi-weekly, Monday through Friday within normal business hours. Compensation is hourly and negotiable based on experience, with company-paid malpractice liability insurance (including tail) and a Part-Time PTO & Sick Leave package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Dental Medicine.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in New York.
• Maintain a current DEA number and ability to prescribe medications in New York.
• Strong communication skills and ability to develop trusting relationships with patients/inmates.
• Ability to monitor, observe and document patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental care to inmates at Allegany County Jail in Belmont, NY.
• Document patient examinations and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
