Professional Care Dental Services PC is recruiting a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team at the Monroe County Jail in Rochester, NY. The position offers on-site care four days per week (Monday–Thursday) with up to 32 hours weekly.

Hourly pay is negotiable, ranging from $18 to $22, and a Part-Time PTO and Sick Leave package is included. Ideal candidates hold an associate's or bachelor's degree in dental assisting or have at least two years of experience and a NY license.

Qualifications

• Must have NY licensed dental assistant or eligibility for NY license.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in dental assisting preferred or minimum two years experience.

It is the perfect hybrid of Outpatient and Urgent/Emergency Dentistry, serving an underserved and extremely diverse patient population.

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team at the Monroe County Jail in Rochester, NY.

This position is 4 day per week Monday - Thursday up to 32 hours of on-site dental care weekly!

• Hourly compensation is negotiable and commensurate based on experience, rate range is $18-$22 per hour

Requirements

• Preferred to have either an associate's or bachelor's degree in dental assistant from an accredited college or university or two years minimum of experience in the field.
• Licensed dental assistant in the state of New York
• Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to develop a trusting relationship with patients/inmates.
• Ability to monitor, observe and document patients.
