The University of New Mexico is seeking a Dentist for a Locum Tenens on-call position. This role provides and oversees direct dental diagnosis, treatment, and care for a specified patient population.
Applicants must hold a Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine and have at least 1 year of related experience. Certification from the New Mexico Board of Dental Health Care is also required. This position offers reimbursements for travel time and lodging accommodations.
Position Summary: This is a Locum Tenens on‑call position. Provides and oversees direct dental diagnosis, treatment, procedures, and care for a specified patient population.
Reimbursements are provided in accordance with UNM policy and approved travel guidelines.
Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities; or enrollment in a Dental Residency Program. Certification/Licensure: Current Licensure from New Mexico Board of Dental Health Care.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
State of New Mexico and Federal DEA Certification are requirements for this position.
