Base Pay Range

$22.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Veterinary Technician experience.
• Flexible schedule required, as our dental team works 12-hour shifts, sometimes longer depending on patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleaning, scaling, polishing, dental x-rays, and charting.
• Handle patient anesthesia and intubation.
• Monitor patients under anesthesia; chart HR, PO2, RR.
• Assist dentist with oral surgical procedures.
• Perform general veterinary technician procedures including placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and running in-house lab machines.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Maintain cleanliness of dental area, tables, cages, floors, etc., between surgeries and at shift end.
