Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health seeks a Veterinary Assistant, Dentistry in Annapolis, Maryland, to support advanced dental and oral surgery cases alongside board-certified specialists. The role offers full-time hours with some extended days and no weekend hours, starting at $21/hour.

You will work in a learning-focused environment at The Animal Dental Center, participate in continuing education, and contribute to a supportive team dedicated to exceptional patient care and client communication.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician.
• Experience with anesthesia, IV catheterization, surgical patient care, and patient recovery is preferred.
• Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and clinical teams during advanced dental and oral‑surgical procedures.
• Assist with anesthesia, IV catheter placement, patient preparation, and surgical support.
• Provide attentive pre‑operative and post‑operative nursing care and monitoring.
