Job summary

Progressive Dental Arts is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to guide patients through the full treatment journey, from diagnosis to scheduling and follow-up. This role acts as the link between patients, the clinical team, and administration, ensuring a seamless and empathetic patient experience.

The coordinator will present treatment plans, review insurance benefits, coordinate referrals, and support practice growth by improving case acceptance and patient retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; dental or business coursework preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of dental office experience with treatment planning, financial counseling, or patient communication responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance benefits.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the full treatment journey from diagnoses to scheduling and follow-up.
• Explain treatment plans clearly and review financials with patients.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure patients understand next steps with external providers.
• Support practice growth by increasing treatment acceptance and improving patient retention.
• Follow up with unscheduled patients to encourage completion of recommended treatment.
• Lead treatment plan discussions with confidence and accuracy with clinicians and staff.
