Dental Treatment Coordinator

What We’re Looking For:

  • Tech-Savvy and Quick Learner: You’ll be utilizing the latest tools to keep things running smoothly – so being tech-savvy is a must! We are fully digital, and are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint! We love new ideas to implement, too!

  • Great Communicator: Ability to connect with patients, make them feel at ease, and clearly explain treatment options.

  • Detail-Oriented: Ensuring accurate records, treatment plans, and communication is critical.

  • Problem Solver: Think on your feet to find creative solutions for patients and your team.

  • Positive & Upbeat: Help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff alike.

  • Mon-Thurs: in person, flexible hours around 8 am - 5 pm


Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Helping patients understand treatment options and financial responsibilities.

  • Coordinating patient schedules and treatment plans to ensure a smooth process.

  • Assisting with insurance verification, billing, and authorization.

  • Managing patient communications and fostering strong relationships.

  • Assisting in referrals and acting as a liaison between our office and referring specialists

  • Assisting with back office needs to improve efficiency/flow of the office (i.e. assisting with sterilization, periodontal charting, etc)

  • Utilizing your strong organizational skills to assist in creation of an office policy manual

  • Facilitating our online presence on multiple social media platforms

  • Aiding coordination of community-based events


Required Skills:

  • Digital proficiency: Experience with dental software (preferably Open Dental) or ability to learn quickly. Experience with patient engagement softwares such as Dental Intel or Weave are a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with patients.

  • Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance processes, and billing.

  • Confidence in presenting treatment plans and financial discussions.

  • Positive, can-do attitude and a passion for delivering top-notch patient care.

  • Ability to align with patients' communication style to build trust and overcome barriers as you find creative solutions to help patients receive the treatment they need

  • Dedication to adding value to our patients and being a team-player !
