As a Dental Treatment Coordinator at I Love My Dentist, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our dental practices. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all aspects of treatment planning and patient coordination are handled efficiently and with the utmost care. Duties and Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out, ensuring a smooth flow and a positive experience.

• Formulate treatment plans based on dentist recommendations and discuss them with patients, ensuring they understand all aspects.

• Understand and explain dental insurance benefits to patients, assisting them in maximizing their coverage.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Follow-up with patients after consultations to resolve any questions and confirm treatment plans.

• Coordinate appointment schedules to optimize patient flow and satisfaction.

• Work closely with dental staff to manage daily administrative operations.

• Handle billing and payment processing, offering clarity and assistance to patients regarding their financial options.

• Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss improvements and updates in clinic procedures.

• Assist in the management of office supplies and inventory to ensure optimal operations.

• Facilitate communication between patients, dentists, and other dental staff to ensure effective care delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or a similar role in dental administration.

• Strong understanding of dental terminology and sufficient knowledge of dental procedures and treatment sequencing.

• Ability to operate and manage patient management software with proficiency.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex information clearly and persuasively.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively without compromising quality or accuracy.

• Empathy and a patient-centric approach to care.

• Professional certification in dental office administration is preferred.
