Job summary

Apple Tree Dental in Fergus Falls, MN seeks a Dental Therapist (ADT or DT) to provide educational, clinical, and therapeutic services to children and adults under the general supervision of a dentist.

Responsibilities include preventive, restorative, and therapeutic care, patient education, assessments, and treatment planning across various settings including clinics, nursing homes, and Head Start centers. Proficiency with Open Dental and active MN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Dental Therapy from a CODA-accredited program.
• Active or Qualified MN Dental Therapy License.
• CPR (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Knowledge of public health principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive, restorative, and therapeutic dental care.
• Educate patients on oral health and disease prevention.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Deliver care in outpatient clinics, nursing homes, group homes, and Head Start centers.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental software.
• Follow all public health guidelines and best practices in dental therapy.
