Job summary

GEO Secured Services seeks a Dental Technician to assist dentists during examinations and procedures for detainees. The role includes instrument sterilization, chair-side assistance, and radiography under OSHA guidelines at our secure facilities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and completed a dental assistant program, with licensure/certification where applicable, plus 1 year of experience. Candidates must be US citizens or authorized to work in the USA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate from an accredited dental assistant program with license/certification where required.
• At least 1 year of dental assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize instruments and prepare tools for procedures.
• Provide chair-side assistance and suctioning during exams.
• Take and develop intra-oral and extra-oral x-rays.
• Maintain dental charts and schedule appointments.
• Ensure clinic cleanliness per OSHA standards.
• Assist with patient scheduling and escort arrangements.
