Job summary

National Association of Dental Laboratories seeks an experienced In-House Dental Laboratory Technician to lead digital and analog removable prosthetics workflows across our La Porte and Munster practices. You will collaborate chairside with dentists and clinical staff to design, 3D-print, process, and finish high-quality dentures, partials, and overdentures.

Responsibilities include managing CAD/CAM workflows, denture setup, and on-site lab operations while maintaining OSHA-compliant practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on bench experience in complete and partial denture fabrication.
• Proficiency with digital denture design software (Exocad, 3Shape) and dental 3D printers.
• Strong grasp of functional occlusion, phonetics, and gingival aesthetics.
• Certified Dental Technician (CDT) or graduate of an accredited dental laboratory program preferred, but substantial bench experience also valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital CAD/CAM and 3D printing workflow for dentures and implant overdentures.
• Articulate models and set denture teeth with balanced and lingualized occlusion; perform finishing and polishing.
• Fabricate complete dentures, immediate dentures, cast/flexible partials, and implant-retained overdentures.
• Provide same-day chairside support: relines, rebases, and fracture repairs; assist during wax try-ins and final delivery.
• Manage lab operations: scheduling, deliveries, inventory, and OSHA-compliant equipment.

We are seeking an experienced In-House Dental Laboratory Technician to lead our digital and analog removable prosthetics workflow across our La Porte and Munster practices. You will collaborate directly chairside with our dentists and our clinical team to design, 3D-print, process, and finish high-quality complete dentures, partials, and implant overdentures.

Key Responsibilities

Digital CAD/CAM & 3D Printing: Ingest intraoral scans (Medit, 3Shape, iTero); design digital dentures, custom trays, and bite rims in exocad or 3Shape; oversee DLP/SLA 3D printing, washing, and UV curing.

Prosthetic Setup & Finishing: Articulate models; set denture teeth using balanced and lingualized occlusal schemes; execute precise festooning, acrylic processing, contouring, and high-shine polishing.

Removable & Implant Restorations: Fabricate complete dentures, immediate dentures, cast/flexible partials, and implant-retained overdentures (locators and pick-up housings).

Same-Day Repairs & Chairside Support: Provide rapid-turnaround hard/soft relines, rebases, and fracture repairs; assist doctors chairside during aesthetic wax try-ins and delivery adjustments.

Lab Operations: Manage case scheduling and delivery dates inside Open Dental; maintain resin, tooth, and acrylic inventory; ensure all lab equipment remains clean and OSHA-compliant.

Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years of hands-on bench experience in complete and partial denture fabrication.

Technical Skills: Proven proficiency with digital denture design software (exocad, 3Shape) and dental 3D printers.

Clinical Knowledge: Strong grasp of functional occlusion, phonetics, and gingival aesthetics.
