Lehigh Valley Oral Surgery and Implant Center PC - Stroudsburg is seeking a qualified Surgical Assistant to support the dentist team and provide world-class patient care at Stroudsburg and Bethlehem offices. Responsibilities include preparing the surgical area, assisting during procedures, sterilizing instruments, monitoring vitals, providing post-op instructions, and traveling to Bethlehem as needed.

Schedule is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with 1+ year experience and preferred X-Ray

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as an oral surgical assistant.
• X-Ray certification preferred.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure.
• Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating the surgeon's needs.
• Keep surgical areas and instruments clean and sterilized.
• Monitor and record patient vitals and ensure comfort and safety.
• Provide post-operative instructions and materials to patients.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
