Your Responsibilities:

• Assist periodontist with all surgical procedures including implant placement, bone grafts, and tissue grafts
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and surgical setups according to OSHA and infection control protocols
• Record treatment notes and patient chart updates
• Take and process digital radiographs, CBCT scans, and iTero scans (training available)
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure comfort during sedation procedures
• Educate patients on post-op instructions and long-term periodontal care
• Maintain operatory readiness and manage surgical inventory
• Provide an excellent chairside experience from consult to post-op recovery
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of surgical or periodontal assisting experience
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Completion of a certified dental assisting program (preferred)
• Valid NYS radiology certification and CPR certification (required)
• Professional, calm demeanor with a passion for patient care
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in a busy clinical environment
  
  

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $25-27/hour + monthly performance incentives
• Full-time benefits (for 30+ hours/week): medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match
• Paid time off: 3 weeks PTO + holidays
