Qualifications

Job description

  • Supporting surgeons and anesthesia teams throughout surgeries
  • Monitoring patient comfort, assisting with vitals, and post-operative care within scope
  • Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards
  • Capturing digital images and supporting clinical documentation
  • Educating patients on pre- and post-operative instructions
  • Managing surgical supplies and inventory
  • Collaborating with surgical team members to ensure efficient procedures
Qualifications And Skills
  • Experience in dental/oral surgery assisting required, with preference for those familiar with wisdom teeth, implants, and sedation
  • High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certifications preferred
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
