Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Supplies, Labs & Equipment Support Specialist to assist offices with procurement of trusted clinical supplies, labs and equipment, and to advocate for reliable products.

The role reports to the Clinical Supplies Supervisor within the Procurement Department. We are open to a hybrid work schedule (remote & in-office) and require a Bachelor’s degree OR three years of customer service experience, plus strong MS Office skills. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR three (3) years of experience in customer service field
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with co-workers in a collegial manner to accomplish common tasks
• High level of maturity, personal initiative, and sound judgment
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks in a timely and responsive manner
• Minimal overnight travel as necessary (quarterly or less)

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations to provide frontline support to dental offices and teams with the procurement of trusted clinical supplies, labs and equipment; escalating issues to subject matter experts when necessary
• Advocate for usage of Trusted Clinical Supplies and Diamond Trusted Labs; monitor offices with low utilization and work with offices to correct; provide necessary tools, resources and reporting
• Guide and educate supported offices in Heartland Dental systems related to ordering, budgeting, saving & inventory management
• Provide input to internal processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of support to offices
• Document solutions into a shared knowledgebase to improve support and consistency in responses for supported offices
