Job summary

Woodyard Periodontics is hiring a Dental Sterilization Tech to ensure clean and safe patient care. You will decontaminate, clean, wrap, and sterilize instruments, while maintaining sterilization records and equipment function. A teamwork-focused culture supports growth and clinical excellence.

Required High School diploma, CRCST certification, and knowledge of OSHA rules; Accredited DA program is a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST or equivalent certification.
• Accredited DA program completion a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
• OSHA regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sterilization Process: Decontaminates, sorts, cleans, wraps, and sterilizes dental instruments and equipment.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operates and monitors autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and heat sealers; records sterilization cycles consistent with CDC/OSHA guidance.
• Cleans, disinfects, and restocks exam rooms between patients and at day end.
• Inventory Management: Manages and orders sterilization supplies and keeps inventory organized.
• Safety & Compliance: Follows strict infection control protocols and records biological/chemical monitoring.
