Job summary

Cornerstone Endodontics in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Sterilization Technician who will advance to a Dental Assistant role after training. You will ensure sterilization of instruments, maintain infection control standards, and support clinical teams across multiple locations.

The role requires full-time availability, attention to detail, and collaboration with dental professionals to deliver a world-class patient experience.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with dental instruments, equipment and infection control protocols.
• Detail-oriented with precise following of procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with dental professionals and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of dental instruments, equipment and surfaces.
• Operate and maintain autoclaves and other sterilization equipment while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and organize instrument trays and setups for various procedures.
• Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and reorder as needed.
• Monitor and record sterilization cycles and logs.
• Collaborate with dental team to ensure smooth instrument flow during appointments.
• Assist in other dental tasks as needed to support patient care.
• Work full-time Monday through Friday.
• Be willing to travel and support other office locations as needed.
