Job summary

Specialized Dental Partners is seeking a reliable Dental Sterilization Technician (PRN) to support the High Desert Endodontics clinic by ensuring instruments and rooms are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for patient care.

The role involves operating autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners, maintaining inventory, and adhering to OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe, compliant dental environment. It emphasizes attention to detail and teamwork across our network.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety is essential.
  • Experience with infection control practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
  • Monitor and operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, etc.).
  • Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and reorder as necessary.
  • Ensure operatories are stocked and prepared for procedures.
  • Turn over rooms and prepare them for patient care.
  • Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
  • Organize and store sterilized instruments; maintain logs and documentation.
  • Assist with equipment setup and breakdown for procedures.

PRN Dental Sterilization Tech - High Desert Endodontics

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Technician to support our clinical team by ensuring all operatories, instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for patient care. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient dental environment.

Schedule: PRN position
Responsibilities
  • Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols
  • Monitor and operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, etc.)
  • Maintain proper inventory of sterilization supplies and reorder as necessary
  • Ensure all operatories are properly stocked and equipped for procedures
  • Support clinical team by turning over rooms and preparing them for patient care
  • Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment
  • Organize and store sterilized instruments in designated areas
  • Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of sterilization equipment
  • Assist with equipment setup and breakdown for procedures as needed
  • Maintain accurate sterilization logs and documentation
  • Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned
