Job summary

Modern Care Endodontics is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician to ensure operatories, instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilized and ready for patient care in a safe, compliant dental environment.

You will monitor autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners, maintain sterilization logs, stock supplies, and support the clinical team by turning over rooms between procedures while following OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols
• Monitor and operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, etc.)
• Maintain proper inventory of sterilization supplies and reorder as necessary
• Ensure all operatories are properly stocked and equipped for procedures
• Support clinical team by turning over rooms and preparing them for patient care
• Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment
• Organize and store sterilized instruments in designated areas
• Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of sterilization equipment
• Assist with equipment setup and breakdown for procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate sterilization logs and documentation
