Job summary

Valley Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Full-Time Sterile Technician to join our team and support pediatric clinics across Carlisle, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, and Camp Hill. The role involves sterilizing equipment, logging sterilization records, and ensuring OSHA/infection control compliance while traveling between locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize dental equipment and instruments in a timely fashion.
• Maintain sterilization log books.
• Comply with safety, sterilization, and infection control requirements including OSHA.
• Help maintain dental equipment per manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Assist other clinic staff and demonstrate a team approach to patient care.
• Enhance public image of the program and agency through professional conduct and appearance.
• Maintain confidential information.
• Perform related activities to assure program/department success.
• Properly dispose of biohazardous material.

We are currently seeking team members who are willing to travel between pediatric locations in Carlisle, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, and Camp Hill as needed.

Job Functions:

• Sterilize all dental equipment and instruments in a timely fashion
• Maintain sterilization log books

Schedule:

Monday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Tuesday: 7:00 am- 4:00 pm

Wednesday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Thursday: 7:00 am- 4:00 pm

Friday: 7:00 am - 2:00 pm
