Valley Pediatric Dentistry is hiring a Full-Time Sterile Technician to sterilize dental instruments, maintain logs, and ensure infection control compliance across multiple pediatric locations in Carlisle, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg and Camp Hill. The candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel between pediatric locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize dental equipment and instruments.
• Maintain sterilization logs and records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control requirements (OSHA).
• Assist clinic staff and support patient care as a team.
• Maintain professional appearance to support the program's image.
• Handle confidential information appropriately.
• Dispose of biohazardous materials properly.
• Travel between Carlisle, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg and Camp Hill locations.

We are currently seeking team members who are willing to travel between pediatric locations in Carlisle, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, and Camp Hill as needed.

Job Functions:

• Sterilize all dental equipment and instruments in a timely fashion
• Maintain sterilization log books
• Comply with and share in the implementation of all safety, sterilization, and infection control requirements, including OSHA
• Help maintain dental equipment per manufacturers’ recommendations
• Assist other clinic staff and demonstrate a team approach to patient care
• Enhance public image of the program and agency through professional conduct and appearance
• Maintain confidential information
• Perform other related activities, as required, to assure program/department success
• Properly dispose of all biohazardous material

Schedule:

Monday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Tuesday: 7:00 am- 4:00 pm

Wednesday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Thursday: 7:00 am- 4:00 pm

Friday: 7:00 am - 2:00 pm
