Aggie Animal Dental Center, part of Animal Outpatient Specialty Network, seeks an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our specialty dental team. RVT required; focus on oral health, anesthesia, and compassionate patient care in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• RVT certification or eligibility; dental/specialty exposure is a plus.
• Strong anesthesia, catheter placement, phlebotomy, and patient handling skills.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Positive, dependable and detail oriented; eager to learn and share knowledge.
• Team oriented and able to adapt in a fast-paced specialty environment.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and administer medications IV, IM, and SC.
• Place IV catheters and perform phlebotomy.
• Induce and monitor anesthesia.
• Assist with dental and oral surgical procedures.
• Prepare, clean, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Provide nursing care and safely restrain patients.
• Maintain electronic medical records, including SOAPs and charges.
• Fill prescriptions and dispense medications as directed.
• Provide warm, professional client communication, including check-in and discharge instructions.
• Assist with front-office responsibilities, including phones and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, organized hospital and contribute to a positive team environment.
