Job summary

The ideal candidate has a dental assisting background, three years of experience, and familiarity with study protocols, infection control, and data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• Current Massachusetts Dental Assistant license required.
• Dental radiology certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum of three years of dental assisting experience.
• Strong chairside assisting and infection-control skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist study dentists and dental hygienists during research screenings, visits, and procedures.
• Prepare participants for visits, greet/seating, take vital signs, collect data as required.
• Follow study protocols and complete required training.
• Enter chairside data using paper forms and electronic systems.
• Assist with collection, labeling, processing, and storage of specimens per protocols.
• Maintain accurate study records for visits and data.
