Dental Center at Aventura is seeking a bilingual (English & Spanish) Dental Receptionist to join our clinical team. The role involves providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction within a team-based environment. We pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive, personalized care in a warm, welcoming setting, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00

Position Overview:

This role is ideal for someone passionate about customer service, eager to learn, and interested in starting a career in dentistry. The receptionist will support staff and patients by answering phones, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with treatment plan payments and financial arrangements. Flexibility in handling various requests and projects assigned by staff or the Office Manager is essential. Join us and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives through exceptional oral care.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and acknowledge patients warmly upon arrival and dismissal
  • Respond to patient questions and concerns according to DCA policies
  • Answer telephones promptly
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Maintain and follow up on the appointment book, including no-shows and cancellations
  • Register patients upon check-in
  • Post charges and payments to patient accounts
  • Check voicemail daily
  • Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area
Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a dental healthcare office required
  • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is mandatory
