Dental Receptionist| 3–5 Days/Week | Growth Opportunity | Multi-Specialty Practice

Join our five-star, patient-centered dental team! Our respected, privately owned multi-specialty dental practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Receptionist Coordinator. This role offers flexible scheduling and a clear path for professional growth. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences in a supportive and fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.

Schedule: Part Time or Full Time, 3–5 days per week

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2+ years of dental front office experience
  • Background in scheduling, treatment coordination, and insurance billing
  • Knowledge of Dentrix software strongly preferred
  • Excellent multitasking and communication abilities
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and patient-focused demeanor
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and daily patient flow
  • Coordinate specialist referrals and follow-up appointments
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, including new patient inquiries and emergency scheduling
  • Monitor and follow up on unscheduled, ASAP, and pending treatment lists
  • Welcome and check patients in and out with professionalism and care
  • Present treatment plans and explain financial options to patients
  • Submit insurance claims, post payments, and accurately estimate treatment costs
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • 2+ years of dental office experience required
  • Strong proficiency in dental software (Dentrix preferred)
  • Familiarity with CDT codes and dental insurance plans
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, proactive, and a strong team player
