SJS Endodontics in Fond du Lac is seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, helping to create a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical office setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures.

  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars.
  • Answer phone calls and manage patient communication.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.

Dental Receptionist

SJS Endodontics

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping create a welcoming and positive experience while supporting the daily operations of the practice.

At SJS Endodontics & Microsurgery, we are a fun, fast paced team committed to compassionate care and creating the best possible patient experience. Our office is filled with energy, warmth, plenty of orange, and a few beloved gnomes, all grounded by the respect and appreciation we have for Dr. Schmoldt, our patients, and one another.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
  • Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
  • Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
Preferred Skills
  • 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical office setting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Experience with dental practice management software
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
