About the Role

We’re looking for a Dental Practice Management Consultant to join our unique team of professionals, providing comprehensive, ongoing support to dentists and their teams across every facet of running a practice. This role is hired at one of two levels — Consultant or Senior Consultant — based on experience, and advancement between levels is driven by a combination of experience, performance, and growing scope of responsibility.

This is primarily an in-office role with regular travel to client dental practices, working directly with dentists and their teams on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and ongoing support to the dentist and the dental team.
• Assist in transitioning practice ownership, as well as starting or closing a practice.
• Develop processes for patient services and optimum dental care with patient satisfaction.
• Formulate operations and systems management plans for implementation.
• Handle human resources and employment practices to support exceptional teamwork.
• Manage facets of Accounts Receivable through review of insurance participation, billing, and collection procedures.
• Guide practice expansion and growth through efficient protocols and marketing.
• Support dental software reporting and oversee data conversions.
• Compile data for analysis of production and collection statistics.
• Undertake short- and long-term projects addressing various practice issues and needs, providing advice and suggestions for improvement aligned with client objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or equivalent years of work experience.
• Proven experience in management or consulting, preferably within the dental industry.
• Strong understanding of dental practice operations, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in numerous dental software systems.
• A great listener with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational and coordination skills with strong time-management abilities.
