CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Dental Network Relations Senior Analyst in Hartford. You will serve as the liaison between Aetna and DSOs, advising on dental products and contract language while supporting leadership, providers, sales and marketing to meet KPIs.

You will negotiate provider contracts, analyze data for cost savings, and coordinate cross-functionally to resolve issues. Travel up to 10% is expected as part of expanding the network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in provider relations, network management, healthcare contracting, dental insurance, or related healthcare.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and negotiation expertise.

Position Summary:

The Dental Network Relations Senior Analyst, is the liaison between Aetna and an assigned group of DSOs. This role acts as a resource for all dental products (DHMO, PPO, Medicare) to DSO leadership and staff, providers, sales, and marketing to aid in the achievement of Aetna Key Performance Measures. This person serves as a subject matter expert, demonstrating a strong understanding of Aetna’s Dental Products and market position. The Senior Analyst negotiates provider contract language and compensation. This role is also responsible to work cross functionally to resolve provider concerns, document resolution, and effectively communicate to all parties.

• Responsible for account management of DSOs and large dental groups to support network strategic initiatives.
• Negotiates contracts at all organizational levels. Strong emphasis on analysis to develop cost-of-care strategy.
• Solid focus on data analytics to identify cost savings opportunities
• Collaborates cross-functionally to resolve provider issues with the utmost urgency.
• Recruits providers as needed to attain network expansion and meet access needs.
• Communicates early warning signs of potential issues/risks to management.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in provider relations, network management, healthcare contracting, dental insurance, or a related healthcare environment.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications including manipulation and analysis of data via Excel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong negotiation expertise.
• Agility and flexibility towards changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years dental provider relations experience.
• DSO experience a plus.
• DHMO product experience.
• Must be able to travel (up to 10%).

Education:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $122,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
